About me
You don't have to burn-out to start resting.
I spent years in fast-paced corporate and tech environments, working in roles that valued speed, output, and constant optimization. Like many people, I learned how to push through exhaustion, normalize stress, and measure my worth by productivity — until burnout caught up with me.
Stepping away from that pace, and spending time traveling through Europe, gave me a different perspective. I was especially struck by how naturally rest is woven into daily life in France — slower mornings, long meals, unhurried conversations, and a cultural respect for presence over urgency. It wasn’t performative wellness. It was simply a different relationship with time.
Pause with Idy grew from my own process of undoing the damage of the rat race and finding my way back to myself. My work is about creating space to slow down, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect — gently, without pressure to fix or transform. I believe rest doesn’t need to be earned, and that coming back to yourself can be simple, human, and shared.
